Shipping & Returns Policy for Nursery Builders

Free Shipping

At Nursery Builders, we offer storewide free shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 States, reducing the stress when it's time to purchase the perfect new product for your bundle(s) of joy!

Order Confirmation

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. We immediately reach out to our suppliers to confirm that the item is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and notify you via email. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within five business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided during checkout. If you do not receive tracking information within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at support@nurserybuilders.com.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Standard Shipping – Ground Shipping (Smaller Items): Our standard shipping method is ground shipping with FedEx or UPS. Delivery signature is not required for ground shipments; the carrier will leave the package at your usual delivery location. You can track your shipment on the FedEx or UPS website. Occasionally, delivery may be delayed due to weather conditions or safety concerns for the package, as decided by the carrier. Very small items may ship via USPS.

Multiple Shipments

If you are purchasing multiple items from different manufacturers, your order will ship from different warehouses and may ship on different dates. We will email you all the tracking numbers associated with your shipment once the items ship from their respective warehouses. If your order contains multiple ground shipments, they may be consolidated and shipped with a Freight carrier based on the number of items and total weight.

Tracking Information

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can track your order on our website or through the carrier's website.

International Shipping

Availability: We ship internationally to Canada only. Please refer to our Canada shipping page for more details.

Customs and Duties: International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Upon Delivery

Upon delivery, if you notice any damage to the box/item, you MUST note this on the delivery receipt to ensure we can address the issue promptly.

This means that every item you purchase is shipped directly from the manufacturer to your doorstep, ensuring the highest quality and freshness. By eliminating the middleman, we can provide you with the best prices and the latest designs in nursery furniture and accessories. Enjoy the convenience and peace of mind knowing that your purchase is handled with care from start to finish.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

Returns & Exchanges Please Note

We Accept returns for both defective and non-defective products.

Non-defective products must be new and the package must be un-opened only.

We only offer a 30-day window for returns and exchanges.

Return Method & Fees

By mail only: Return label is the customer’s responsibility unless provided by the manufacturer.

Restocking fees: 20% of the product price

Refund processing time: 7-14 business days.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at returns@nurserybuilders.com Please note that returns will need to be sent to various locations depending on the manufacturer’s policies so please wait for a confirmation email or phone call from us before sending the returned product back.

If your return is accepted, depending on each manufacturer’s return policy we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note: If the manufacturer does not cover the return shipping it is the customer’s responsibility to cover the shipping cost.

Cancellations & Refunds

All orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
